Multi-Academy Trust consultation

The consultation has now closed  The Governors are currently reviewing the information received and are completing due diligence to decide if the High Down Schools will join the 'Lighthouse Schools Partnership' MAT.

As a Governing Body we have been exploring the concept of formal collaborations with other schools for more than a year now. After careful consideration the Governors voted unanimously at the end of last month to consult on becoming an Academy and joining with Gordano School, St Mary’s Primary School in Portbury, St Peter’s Primary School and Portishead Primary School in setting up a Multi-Academy Trust based here in our community.
