Safeguarding

Everyone in our school shares our objective to help keep children safe by:

  •   Providing a safe environment for children to learn in
  •   Supporting children’s development in ways which will foster a sense of self-esteem
  •   Identifying and responding to children in need of support and/or protection

Our staff and governors regularly undertake training in this area to ensure the welfare and safety of our children remains paramount.

If you have any queries or concerns regarding the safety of a child either inside or outside of school, you can contact our designated safeguarding lead teacher who is Andreya Cowan.  In her absence, you can contact the nominated deputy Sue Parker.  If these are unavailable you can speak to James Hollis or Penny Atherton.

Our safeguarding governor is Joseph Lee.

You can also contact the local authority directly with any concerns on 01275 888 808
