Governors
The Governing body consists of representatives from:
Parents - elected to serve a 4 year term of office by the parents/carers of the school.
Staff - (teaching and Non teaching) elected to serve a 4 year term of office by the staff of the school.
Local Education Authority (LEA) - nominated by the LEA to serve a 4 year term of office.
Community - volunteers from the community who agree to serve a 4 year term of office.
The Governing Body elect a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
The detailed work of the Governing Body takes place within the 4 sub-committees, Staffing, Curriculum and Pupil Welfare, Premises and Finance. Each of these sub committees has an elected chairperson.
