Pupil Welfare

The School's Aims underpin everything that happens in our school and are used as a means of promoting high expectations, responsibility, understanding and tolerance so that children can grow into a world where they are healthy, feel safe, enjoy their work and can achieve the best of which they are capable and also make a positive contribution to our community.

Ofsted noted our work with the children in this area when they visited our school in March 2006.

"Pupils' personal development is good as a result of the strong focus on promoting their well-being and self-esteem. They enjoy school and attendance is good. Behaviour is generally of a high standard and the majority of pupils show consideration for others and tolerance of those who need special support."

"They make a good contribution to the wider community through participation in special events and fundraising." - Ofsted March 2006.
